Matt just returned from 2 weeks as a Cultural Envoy for the U.S. State Department in Nepal. Working with poets Danny Solis and Karen Finneyfrock, the 3 helped set up and run the country’s first youth poetry slam. They ran workshops with students and teachers, did performances around Kathmandu and in Biratnagar, and were impressed by the talent of these young Nepalese poets.
